Allows you to shutdown, restart, logoff, hibernate, sleep, lock your pc remotely from anywhere using any device, or you can define custom rules for automatic shutdown, restart, logoff, hibernate, sleep/standby, lock your pc.

Commands

  1. Shutdown: Shutdown PC securely. If an application prompts a confirmation message (e.g save changes?, are you sure?) windows may wait for user to take action and hangs.
  2. Shutdown (hybrid): Hybrid shutdown PC securely, Allows faster startup (on window 8 and above) If an application prompts a confirmation message (e.g save changes?, are you sure?) windows may wait for user to take action and hangs.
  3. Force Shutdown: Force PC to shutdown. In case of unsaved data existence, data loss may occur.
  4. Force Shutdown (hybrid): Force PC to hybrid shutdown, Allows faster startup (on window 8 and above). In case of unsaved data existence, data loss may occur.
  5. Restart: Restart PC securely. If an application prompts a confirmation message (e.g save changes?, are you sure?) windows may wait for user to take action and hangs.

  9. Hibernate: The Hibernate mode saves your open documents and working applications to your hard disk and shuts the computer down If a computer is in Hibernate mode, it uses no power at all. When the computer is powered back on, it will resume everything where you left off.
  10. Sleep, Standby: Sleep mode stops all works on the computer and puts any open documents and applications in memory. You can quickly resume you PC within a few seconds. This mode continues to consume low battery power.
  11. Lock PC: Locks the PC, user must re-enter his/her password if account type is a password protected account.
  12. Alarm: When rules are matched, Alarm goes off (CPU usage, download speed, upload speed, disk red/write etc.)
  13. Count Down Alarm: When count down completes, Alarm goes off

Using Shutdown PC remotely feature

Shutdown PC remotely

Allows you to shutdown, restart, logoff, hibernate, sleep, lock your PC remotely from anywhere using any device.

  1. Click the Remote shutdown button (on the main application) to open "Enable remote Shutdown" window.
  2. PC id will be automatically generated.
  3. Enter a strong password (password strength should be at least 3 stars) and press the Enable remote Shutdown button.
  4. to send a command to your PC, go to www.RentAnAdviser.com. Click the Shutdown PC Icon icon on the left bottom of the page to open command window. Fill the required fields (PC ID, password, command) and send your command to message board. ShutdownPC checks for command messages every 1 minutes, this means that your command will be carried out within 1 minutes.
    ATTENTION! Use this application at your own risk. You shouldn't leave unsaved files opened when you want this application to shutdown, logoff, or restart your PC, data loss may occur!

How Remote shutdown works;

  5. ShutdownPC checks for command messages every 1 minutes.
  6. PC reads your command within 1 minute and applies your command (depending on settings you defined).

  1. When downloads done: When file downloading completes, download speed becomes very low, in this case you may want to automatically shutdown your PC

  3. When PC idle: Low CPU usage (e.g video converting consumes too much CPU resources, when it finishes CPU becomes idle)
  4. When moving/copying Files done: When moving files completes, disk write and disk read become very low, in this case you may want to automatically shutdown your PC
  5. Lost Internet connection: When download speed and upload speed = 0, alarm goes off, reset your Internet connection.
